Fort Hand Festival
WHEN: Annually - the last weekend of September.
Note: Because 2012 is a Leap Year, The Fort Hand Festival will be held
a week earlier.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 21, 22, 23, 2012 (8th annual)
Friday 5PM to 10PM, Saturday Noon till Fireworks,
Sunday 11AM to 5PM.
WHERE: Kunkle Park, 285 Pine Run Church Road, Apollo PA 15613 (which is actually Washington
Township in Westmoreland County PA.) The park is located approx. 4 miles south of Apollo PA.
DESCRIPTION: The Fort Hand Festival is held in Westmoreland County, Washington Township,
approximately 4 miles south of Apollo. The festival will include crafters, food vendors, kickball tournament,
carnival rides by C&L Shows, dog agility and karate demonstrations, a chinese auction, children’s games and
activities and more! A variety of entertainment will be showcased all three days. There will be fireworks Saturday
night and a flea market on Sunday only. Admission and parking are free.

Food vendors wanted (concessionaires.)
Entertainment vendors wanted - entertainment is needed - music, magicians, clowns, etc.
