Baked Apples In The Microwave
Quick and Easy Side Dish or Dessert Shared by
Linda at PaVendors.com
Core the apple, place in microwave-safe bowl or dish.
Fill hole in apple with a little brown sugar
(about a teaspoon - or more, if you want to make it
sweeter.)
Microwave for a minute or two - apple will start bubbling.
Voila! Baked apple - sweet and warm!
Makes a great side dish or quick dessert.
When cooking more than one apple at a time,
just increase the cook time.
After cooking, you can pour a little milk on top or add whipped cream. You can also put
some butter in the hole of the apple along with the brown sugar before cooking and/or add nuts,
cinnamon or other yummy stuff.
