Pennsylvania Midstate Baseball League Benefit Day
WHERE: Robert E. Yetter Memorial Field at Vernon C. Wass Park DESCRIPTION: The Pennsylvania Midstate Baseball League is proud to host it's annual Home Run Derby and Benefit Game to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. The Home Run Derby will begin at 10AM with the Benefit Game starting at 2PM. Children from Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Harrisburg will be allowed on the field to shag balls in the outfield during the Derby. Admission is free for fans. Proceeds collected from entry fees charged to players from the league and donations from the day from fans will benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Harrisburg. Local food and other vendors, face painting, dunk tank and entertainment for your family to enjoy! Let's make this event grow from year to year. Come out and enjoy the day!
