ChocolateFest
WHERE: Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, DESCRIPTION: Celebrate love and chocolate! Sample tastes of mostly chocolate creations by area confectioners, restaurants, hotels and caterers. Enjoy the live entertainment, silent auction, children's activities and the impressive cake competition. All proceeds from this event benefit Keystone Human Services and our family of nonprofit agencies. Vendors Wanted! Chocolatefest begins with the Premiere from 11AM to 12:30PM. This exclusive event offers a full preview of ChocolateFest with the added features of a champagne, wine and hors d’oeuvres. A magnificent cake competition, sponsored by Harrisburg Magazine, will take place and you will see first hand who wins the grand prize. Chocolatefest offers two general sessions. The First General Session begins at 1PM and runs until 2:45PM. The Second General Session is from 3:15PM through 5PM. Local high school students provide ongoing entertainment with jazz bands form Central Dauphin and Mechanicsburg High School. More than 75 vendors (Chocolatiers) will be offering both chocolate and non-chocolate tastes. A sampling of our Chocolatiers: Matangos Candy, GIANT Foods, Appalachian Brewing Company, Hershey Lodge, Hershey Entertainment Complex, The Hotel Hershey, and many more! Other activities include: Retail cakes sold by silent auction at both general sessions: Basket Raffle and a Silent Auction featuring gifts from local services, artists and businesses.
