Sheep and Fiber Festival

May CalendarWHEN: Annually - third weekend of May
          Saturday and Sunday - May 19 & 20, 2012

WHERE: Downtown Waynesburg and the Greene County Fairgrounds
           Waynesburg, PA 15370 (Greene County PA.)
           The fairgrounds are located between Route 21 (Roy Furman Highway)
                                and Route 188 (Jefferson Road.)

DESCRIPTION: Annual Sheep and Fiber Festival celebrating the heritage of sheep, wool and fiber in Greene County PA with sheep, alpacas, spinning, weaving, shearing, juried crafts show and sale (many demonstrating and selling fiber-related wares), "Sheep to Shawl" demonstration, live border collie shepherding shows, pedal tractor pull and auction, live music, food, and more.

Sponsored by the American Lamb Board, Waynesburg Prosperous and Beautiful, and several other local businesses and farms.
