       "The Indiana Arts Council, a non-profit corporation, fosters the creation and greater appreciation of the fine, creative, and performing arts in Indiana County. Our constituency includes all of the residents of Indiana County, irrespective of prior arts exposure. The IAC enjoys, and intends to continue, a cooperative relationship with Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana County's principle cultural resource.
       The purpose of the Indiana Art Association is to promote interest, appreciation, and participation in the arts. We aim to stimulate the artistic growth and development of our members as individual artists through encouragement, education, exhibits of work, and exchange of ideas. It is our desire to motivate public interest in the arts and function as aesthetically wise consumers and citizens ourselves." Various types of art classes are available for all ages.
