Annual Rubber Duckie Race™ and Festival

WHEN: Annually - always the last Sunday in July
Sunday, July 28, 2012 (24th annual) - 2PM to 5PM

WHERE: Lancaster County Central Park, Lancaster PA
From the City of Lancaster: Take Duke Street south through the city until Chesapeake Street. Take a right onto Chesapeake Street; go .2 miles and turn left into the park.

DESCRIPTION: 25,000 plastic ducks will race down the Conestoga River as their 'ticket holders' cheer them on. The first 50 ducks to cross the finish line will win quack-tas-tic prizes! The day will also include music, food, arts and crafts, kids games and an adult dinghy derby!

All proceeds from the event will directly support the nearly 4,000 children with special needs that Schreiber Pediatric treats each year. Schreiber offers therapies, recreational programs, summer camps, day care, preschool, family support services and more! Most importantly Schreiber treats every child in need, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
