with Vendors in Maytown Pennsylvania - Lancaster County PA
Maytown Winter Festival
WHEN: Saturday December 10, 2011 - 11AM to 6PM
WHERE: Town Square and High Street, Maytown PA 17550 (Lancaster County PA.)
DESCRIPTION: The Maytown Historical is planning our first "Maytown Winter Festival" to be held on
Saturday December 10, 2011 from 11AM to 6PM. Vendors will be located in the historic town square and along High
Street. Enjoy a Town Crier; Carolers singing in the square; a Belschnickel; plus another traditional Santa.
Musicians and instruments playing Christmas carols all afternoon on the square and around town. One of our lovely
older homes will be converted into an old fashioned "Bake Shoppe" with smells of homemade apple dumplings and other
baked goods. There will be food vendors for the light fare. However, if the cold bites at you, stop by the "Royal
George Tavern" where you can enjoy a hearty lunch or desert in a 1790 stone home located on the town square. For
those who would enjoy a bit of Maytown history, a Trolley ride around town is ideal. The churches will be
beautifully decorated for you to behold. Then at dusk, the grand illumination; the Christmas tree and tiny white
lights in windows everywhere.
Join us for our first Winter Festival held in historic Maytown, Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Fun
for all. Hope to see you there.

Words of Wisdom and Inspiration...
"Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy,
forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To
all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect." -- Oren
