Military Veterans Fair
WHEN: Sunday, February 19, 2012 (2nd annual)
WHERE: Conveniently located at the NEW Pennsylvania National Guard Armory at 1046 Belvoir Road in
Plymouth Meeting (Montgomery County PA.) Five minutes from the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Route 276,) The Blue Route
(Route 476) and the Schuylkill Expressway (Route 76). Only 20 Minutes from Philadelphia. Plenty of free
parking.
DESCRIPTION: This spectacular one-day event is a Living Military History Museum bringing together
multiple living history groups re-enacting and displaying rare military artifacts from World War II, Korea and
Vietnam. Take this day to bring your children, parents and grandparents to see the most authentic period uniforms,
equipment, weapons and memorabilia from these major American conflicts. This event is sure to encourage family
members to tell their own stories using these fantastic war displays.
Reenactors will have real campsites set up indoors with military vehicles ready to answer questions
and demonstrate equipment you have only seen in history books and movies, unless of course you carried them
yourself. See actors portraying WWII Army nurses, medics, infantry soldiers, Marines, paratroopers and officers.
Also, hear combat vets with their own stories to tell. If you are interested in military history, this is the
special event that cannot be missed.
