Pioneer Day
WHERE: Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine, DESCRIPTION: In addition to its regular coal mine tours and steam train rides, a variety of special events will be held in Higher-Up Park, which is adjacent to the Tunnel. This event includes a large craft fair with more than 80 vendors, live music and entertainment, open-pit chicken BBQ dinners, ethnic foods, activities for kids, Bingo, games and more. Free parking and continuous free shuttle service will be available from 23rd and Center Streets (Gitman Brothers parking lot) in Ashland to Pioneer Tunnel. CONTACT: 570-875-3850
