Schuylkill County Wine Festival
WHERE: Hegins Park, Park Lane (Route 25), Hegins PA 17938 (Schuylkill County PA.) Located at Exit
112 off I-81. DESCRIPTION: Wineries from around the area will again be offering tastings of their best, prize-winning wines. Throughout the day, music will fill the park. Stroll the park and patronize the vendors and caterers in attendance. Local artisans will be offering unique handmade jewelry, pottery, spices, jellies and jams, cheeses, and locally harvested honey. Expected fare will include an eclectic range of foods, including haluskey, pulled pork sandwiches, barbecue ribs, and crab soup, to mention a few. Friends are reminded to bring their own tables, chairs, and tents. There will be plenty of scenic sites available to spread out and relax. For those interested in friendly competition, there will also be a prize awarded for the best decorated table in the park.
