DESCRIPTION: Overly's Country Christmas is a nationally recognized holiday light display and
Christmas Village that has been featured on numerous TV programs and national magazines.

Drive through 2.1 million lights

Stroll through five acres of the country-themed Christmas Village.

View a life-sized nativity scene with live animals.

Take the children on a Kids’ Express Train Ride from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. (weather permitting.)

Ride through Christmas Village in a horse-drawn wagon or sleigh (weather permitting; sleigh rides only
on the weekends.)

See the area’s largest G-gauge model train display and railroad memorabilia at Hartman Station.

Meet and greet Overly’s mascot, “Twinkle,” and “the Grinch” on weekends.

Take pictures with Santa Claus (until December 23.)

Gather around the bonfire to sing carols or roast marshmallows.

Visit C. Edgar & Sons General Store to shop for handmade ornaments, crafts and decorations.

Treat yourself to some kettle corn or homemade fudge from the Sweete Shoppe.

Discover the new additions to Overly’s traditions such as Sugar Plums, North Pole Funnel Cakes,
hand-dipped chocolate popcorn and other chocolate treats.
Supporters and friends of Overly’s Country Christmas® include: KDKA, First Commonwealth
Bank, Galliker’s Dairy, Vogt’s Brentwood Station, Dr. King Hartman and Dave and Sue Powell.
Each year, over 150,000 visitors view the spectacular light show and explore the gift shops, snack at the
food stands, enjoy the bonfire and experience the other exciting features of the walk-though Christmas Village. The
attraction has not only become a favorite activity for locals, but it has also received national acclaim both on
television and in print.
Dedicated to helping those in need, Overly’s County Christmas gives back to the community in many ways.
Through its partnerships with the Pet Adoption League, the Westmoreland County Food Bank and the Mt. Pleasant Area
Salvation Army, as well as its Family Moments program, Overly’s Country Christmas has helped to make the holidays
brighter for many.
With nearly 600 volunteers, 2.1 million lights and a mission to spread the “spirit of giving,” Overly’s
County Christmas has become a family tradition for many visitors, and it promises to create beautiful memories for
many years to come.
